Organised jointly by Gujarat Institute of Development Research (GIDR) and Xavier Institute of Management - Bhubaneswar (XIMB) on 24 April 2011 at XIMB with the cooperation of the Samadrusti fortnightly.
The seminar was supported by the Chronic Poverty Research Centre (CPRC) which GIDR was a partner organisation in India. This event also paid tribute to Dr Sakti Padhi, an eminent scholar and a contributor to the CPRC-research in India, who passed away in March 2010.
The event explores new pathways for a sustainable, equitable, and sectorally balanced development that can address chronic poverty in Orissa.
