This event brings together leading academics and practitioners of poverty to discuss chronic poverty in India. It presents research by the CPRC-IIPA, focussing on the methodological issues in the context of work in progress, specifically: remote rural areas, urban poverty, conflict, children in poverty, issues in intra-household allocation and measurement, panel data studies, qualitative approaches, and the identification of districts for in-depth micro studies[
