Description
A seminar for discussion by leading academics on issues surrounding Chronic Poverty and development policies referring to poverty in India. Issues discussed include: food insecurity, technological change, government policy, political and sociological perspectives, vulnerable groups, backward areas and analysis of panel data collected. The seminar will be closed with the First Chronic poverty Report and a discussion of the issues emerging from it.
